Each engine has it's pros and cons, but Godot is by far the easiest to set up and make it look as intended.

Recon Helmet - Fan Made

This is a fan made helmet from Halo Reach. It's first introduction was in Halo 3 and has been remade for each new Halo instalment with it's own design changes.

This one I made, is mostly inspired from Halo Reach. I took some parts from Halo 3 and a tiny bit from Halo Infinite; while making it my own. I wanted to make this one look more aggressive and less round compared to Halo Reach. While keeping the same design overall, but making it feel fresh. I made four attachments from Halo Reach as well that you could use. I also made two attachments of my own. Some attachments can only be used for this helmets and other, while other attachments could only be used for other helmets.

I had some problems baking the normal map because of some tight corners, while there are also bigger details that need more space. So I had to use a cage to solve that problem. It was my first time using a cage for real this time and I learned a few things along the way. Though, that caused problems on it's own that I had to keep an eye on.
